With its opening just a few years ago, GONE has become one of the most popular and best frequented bars in the famous night-life area of Ponte Milvio.

Giolitti is probably one of the best "gelaterie" (ice-cream shop) in Rome, if not the best. Many Romans and also tourists pay a visit to this spectacular place, which is situated between the Pantheon and the Chamber of Deputies and it has been since 1900 the historic location. The ice-creams are delicious, nothing like you have ever tasted before. There are a lot of different types of flavors you can get: from chocolate, tiramisu, stracciatella, nocciola to semifreddo allo zabaione, fragola, panna, fior di latte and so much more. Giolitti is paradise for those of you who like gelato, its different and unique tastes are distinguished by the rest by the quality of the ingredients used, especially by the milk. When you enter Giolitti, you can either get in line and get an ice-cream cone or cup to take away, or you can sit down and enjoy whatever you ordered.

At Elle you can start off your evening with a happy-hour followed by a nice dining experience with a different selection of dishes accompanied by a vast wine list that will not disappoint you. At around midnight, your night will change as all of the people sitting around you will get up and start dancing. On the upper floors, the most famous Italian and foreign tunes from the 70's and 80's will be played by a live singer. You can also request the song you want to listen to at the piano.
Instead, on the ground floor, commercial club music will be played, with the most famous hits of the moment going on all night. This restaurant/bar is a great place to spend your evening, with a mixture of different people going from their 20s and above, but whose clientele is mostly made up of older people. This bar is one of the most frequented ones in the famous piazza. It has an outside area with a couple of tables where you can sit while you enjoy your drink. Inside, there is a DJ set with the moment's hits playing, a couple of tables spread around the room to sit down with your friends and a bar where you can get almost everything you want: from cocktail pitchers to beers, shots and wine. 

But the most crowded area of the room is always the beer pong table where everyone gathers around to see who is going to win the game and to wait to challenge the winner. You can get your beer pitcher at the bar, and if you have a student card you will get a discount. This applies to all other pitchers as well.
The bar is full of pople, both Italian and English-speaking, but most of the people who frequent this bar are foreigners. Enjoy!

From 6 pm they also serve aperitivi,  where you can gather with some friends before going to dinner, or you could always come for a nice evening to chat with your friends in a pleasant atmosphere. On Mondays they have the event "We like Monday" in which they serve tapas, buffet, aperi-dinner and drinks accompanied by a DJ set that plays different types of music. The area of "La Pace" is considered one of the most frequented areas by chic Italians, in fact, you will find that they are all wearing elegant and trendy clothes.
The bar has an outside area which is wonderful, you can sit down with your friends and enjoy a drink that costs approximately 10 Euros while at the same time you're enjoying the view of the church of Santa Maria della Pace. Located in the the heart of the historic center, this small bar is a must if you are hanging out in Campo de' Fiori. The bar is next to Studio 18, and makes the best shots you'll drink in the center at a cheap price. The cocktails are also great, and also priced reasonably.
I advise you to take the "tiramisu" the "cervelletto" or the "godfather" shot. These are some of my favorites, but everything is really good. The bartenders make really good Mojitos as well.

This club, which is located near the colosseum, is fully covered in ice and has a temperature of -5°C.
Open every days of the week from 6 pm to 2 am, this bar offers delicious drinks in cups made out of ice and music playing to set the atmosphere. It's a great place to visit, especially in the summer when you want to cool off. Because of its central location, it's full of international people as well as Italians. The contrasting lights that set different moods make this bar very enjoyable and different from all the others.
The cocktails are great, my personal favorite is fragola panna (strawberry-cream). On Tuesdays they have open bar night, you enter paying 20 Euros per person and can stay as long as you like. However, once you enter you are not allowed to go outside and come back. Obviously no smoking is permitted. I recommend you don't arrive after 11pm on open bar night.
Make sure to wear warm clothes!
