The Chiostro del Bramante

Located in Via Arco della Pace, 5

The Chiostro del Bramante, designed by the esteemed architect Donato Bramante and named after him, is an icon of Renaissance architecture in Rome. The cloister is the most important feature of what was originally a monastery which also included the neighboring church of Santa Maria della Pace. Throughout the year, the museum offers the fascinating glimpse to the Renaissance architecture and with its beautiful large frescoed galleries it provides a great space to enjoy art.

The moment's exhibitions:

Maurits Cornelis Escher(1898-1972) - The exhibition exposes the works of the Dutch graphic artist, known for his perspectives, lithographs and mathematically inspired works. His art is fascinating and unique and it explores the world of math, always staying in between art and geometry. Escher's art also observes nature with a different point of view that allows the beauty of irregular geometry to emerge. Enjoy!
