Muse Concert

Muse is a famous English rock band from Devon composed of Matthew Bellamy, Chris Wolstenhome and Dominic Howard, three childhood friends who have sky-rocketed with their 2006 album "Black Holes and Revelations".

Tiziano Ferro Concert

Arisa Concert

Arisa is an Italian actress, writer, songwriter and singer. Ever since 2009, when she made her debut on the Italian stage with her single "Sincerita'", she has been climbing higher and higher on the ladder of success. John Legend Concert

John Legend's "All of Me" Tour comes to Europe and also to Rome on November 11th.
The famous musician has won nine Grammy Awards, three Soul Train Awards and also one BET Award apart from the special Starlight Awad from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Legend is without a doubt one of the most loved international singers due to his elegant and old fashion style. His capability of mixing the feelings of the old Soul music school to the rhythm of Hip Hop and the modern R&B make him an international star as well as an admired artist.

Giorgia Concert

Giorgia is an Italian singer, songwriter and record label producer. She is considered one of the best pop music artists due to her talent and success. Her voice is considered one of the best and with extremely high technical skills. Giorgia has a natural aptitude for jazz and soul music, the two have allowed her to create a vocal skill that permit her to navigate in different musical genres.
She is thought of as a great interpreter from artists such as Anastacia, Elton John, Michael Buble and Herbie Hancock.
Throughout her whole career, Giorgia has sold approximately six million copies, most of them in Italy, Canada and the Netherlands.

Emma Concert

Emma Marrone is a famous Italian singer who started out her career at 25 when she entered the talent show "Amici di Maria de Filippi" where she won first place. This was this first stop in her road to success. 
After Maria de Filippi's show, Emma released her first single, "Calore" which won first place in Italian charts and also signed a record label with Universal Music.
Emma also participated at the famous Festival di Sanremo, in which she won second place in 2011 along with the Moda' group and later won first place in 2014 with the song "La Vita e' un'Inverno". Additionally, she represented Italy at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest.
Marrone is an artist who is constantly growing and her live performances are fantastic: she has a great energy, original voice and fabulous interpretation. Enjoy!

Noemi Concert

Noemi is a young Italian singer, songwriter and director of videoclips. The stage opens for this young musician in 2009 when she participated in the second Italian edition of X Factor, in which she signed a contract with the record label company, Sony Music.
The musician has also participated in the 2010 and 2012 Sanremo Festivals where she won throughout the years 26 nominations and victories.
Her singles "L'amore si Odia" , "Vuoto a Perdere" and "Per Tutta La Vita" are just some of incredibly famous songs in Italy.

Rusalka - Teatro dell'Opera


Located in Teatro Costanzi in Piazza Beniamino Gigli, 7

Rusalka ia a tragic fairytale opera by Antonin Dvorak consisting of three acts. Jasoslav Kvapil wrote the Czech libretto and was inspired by the fairy tales of Karel Jaromir Erben and Bozena Nemcova.
The tragic fairytale tells the story of Rusalka, a water nymph who has fallen in love with a mortal prince and who decides to give up her immortality in order to be with him. The water nymph turns to the witch Juzibaba who will transform her into a human at the cost of her power of speech. Moreover, the witch warns Rusalka that if she does not find true love, she will be damned and the prince will die.
Rusalka is transformed into a beautiful human and the prince, bewitched by her beauty, decides to marry her.
Nonetheless, the prince feels that she is cold towards him and tells her to go change for the ball, meanwhile he is left with a foreign princess who mocks Rusalka's muteness.
Rusalka feels powerless and decides to go to the gardens to talk with the wood nymphs, and while she's there, she sees the prince confessing his love to the foreign princess. Rusalka vanishes in the pool of the garden with the other nymphs and is punished to eternal damnation.
The prince, feeling guilty for what he has done, tries to find Rusalka, and knowing that by kissing her he will die, he decides to do so anyway.
In the beautiful context of Teatro Costanzi and directed by Elvind Gullberg Jensen, this spectacular devastating story should not be missed. Enjoy!

Rigoletto - Teatro dell'Opera

Rigoletto is a melodramatic opera by Giuseppe Verdi consisting of three acts. Francesco Maria Piave wrote the Italian libretto and was inspired by Victor Hugo's Le Roi S'amuse. This tragic story focuses on three main protagonists: Rigoletto, the court jester, the Duke of Manuta and Rigoletto's daughter, Gilda.
When Rigoletto encourages the Duke of Manuta to seduce one of his courtier's daughter, a curse is cast on both of them. It seemed that the curse had no effect until Rigoletto's daughter, Gilda, is seduced by the Duke of Mantua. This shocking news makes Rigoletto lose his patience and decides to have the Duke assassinated. However, Gilda is still in love with the Duke and decides to sacrifice herself in order to save her lover's life.
In the beautiful context of Teatro Costanzi and directed by Leo Muscato, this spectacular tragic story should not be missed. Enjoy!

Cooking For Art


Located in Via dei Monti della Farnesina, 77

Cooking For Art is an event that brings together the best chefs, products and hotels that represent high quality in Italy. After its great success in previous editions, this event, organized by Witaly and Luigi Cremona, will take place at Officine Farneto, where the greatest wineries and agri-foodstuffs will promote their products and culinary activities present in different territories in Italy.
But what is special about this year is the introduction of the Food Zone, a space where 11 different areas will be dedicated to 33 chefs, including starred chefs and young talents, a section where the public will have the opportunity to see the different stations and learn the chefs' recipes. Some of the chefs that will be present are Heinz Beck, Cristina Bowerman, Antohy Genovese, Giancarlo Perbellini, Francesco Apreda, Alba Estive Ruiz, Valeria Piccini, Igles Corelli, Marco Martini, Oliver Glowig and other pastry and ice-cream masters.
Additionally, the Street Food Area will focus on the best Italian "take-away" foods while the Mixology Area will have the best Roman bartenders. Of course, a Pizza station will be present where the Italian pizza masters such as Franco Pepe, Stefano Callegari and Roberto di Massa will show their skills.
At the end of the event on November 3rd, different awards will be given to the chefs including the Best Emerging Chef in Italy of 2014, and for the first time in Rome, the award of Best Emerging Pizza Chef in Italy of 2014. The Best Emerging Chef contest represents a landmark for young ambitious chefs that want to demonstrate their culinary talents to the judges, which include journalists and critics of the food sector as well as important chefs and curators of the main culinary guides. Cirque du Soleil - Quidam

Cique du Soleil's fantastic show, Quidam, makes its first appearance in Italy on the stage of Palalottomatica, situated in the EUR neighborhood. Since its debut in 1984, Cirque du Soleil has not been the typical circus company, they have made it their mission to trigger the audiences' senses through acrobatic routines, dances, music, special effects and themes.
Their debuting show will be about a young girl, Zoe, trapped inside her boring world with parents who do not consider her. To escape from this reality, the protagonist dives into an imaginary world, Quidam, where she runs across different characters who persuade her to unleash her inner self.
Through different impressive acts such as aerial hoops, aerial contortion in silk, juggling and many more, Cirque du Soleil will deliver an unforgettable show to its audience. Enjoy!

The exhibition - "The Great Beauty"

From October 16th to October 25th Mediafriends and Rome International Film Festival in collaboration with Medusa Film, will present an important charity initiative inspired by the oscar winning film, "The Great Beauty". Inside the Auditorium Parco della Musica, 150 works from original photographs to frames of Paolo Sorrentino's film will be exposed in the foyer of Sala Sinopoli. Throughout the course of the exhibition, visitors will have the possibility to make an offer and acquire the works.
Moreover, on October 24th, Hotel Boscolo Exedra, located in Via Veneto, will host a special charity event. The hotel's roof-terrace will transform itself in Jep Gambardella's renowned party terrace to host a magnificent gala dinner in which 20 different works and a gown worn by Toni Servillo will be auctioned.
Throughout the course of the exhibition, 70 boxes containing the film's dvd, soundtrack, a catalogue of the exhibition and a copy of one of the bags used by Toni Servillo will be available.
With this event, Mediafriends and Rome International Film Festival in collaboration with Medusa Film aim to raise funds for FIRA, a non-profit organization that promotes research on arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. Don't miss this great exhibition, enjoy!

Open Museum - Open City



Located in MAXXI in Via Guido Reni, 4A

The event "Open Museum Open City" curated by Hou Hanru, will be hosted in the beautiful National Museum of Arts of the 21st Century designed by the famous Iraqi architect, Zaha Hadid.
It is an exhibition that will bring together the most revolutionary and contemporary way to express art, through sound.
The event will take place throughout the whole museum and will offer the possibility to rethink the relationship between art production, the involvement of architecture and the participation of the public. MAXXI's galleries will be filled in an intangible way, providing the opportunity to make a reflection on the urban transformation and on the sociocultural experiments of our modern Rome.
The museum will transform itself in an open-stage dialogue, with different voices proposing new social projects that will "empty the space" and fill it with sounds.
MAXXI will host different events involving music, dances, theater, cinema, narration, readings, poems and encounters with people. Enjoy!

Photography International Festival

The 13th edition of the Photography International Festival will be hosted at MACRO, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome. This year the theme will be "PORTRAIT": photography is not only going to be a genre but a tool to analyze our contemporary society.
The portrait theme is going to be used to understand the historic path and role photography has played in contemporary art as well as in social fields such as philosophy, sociology and anthropology.

The major exhibition is going to be a collection of works composed by 200 authors who have been selected by international photographers, curators and museum directors that have collaborated in the previous editions. Enjoy!
