Momart Cafe

Located in Viale XXI Aprile, 19

Situated half-way between Piazza Istria and Piazza Bologna, Momart is an extremely trendy bar with a popular Italian-style aperitivo.
The place is wonderful, embedded in a modern setting decorated with vast verandas,  dark parquet flooring, large art-pieces and an extensive outside area which is heated during the winter.
Every day starting from 6pm the renowned happy-hour begins, with a delicious buffet offering a variety of choices including pastas, Italian-style tempuras, vegetables and desserts. But the best part is the delightful pizza station where freshly made pizzas come out of the wood-burning oven.
Momart is filled with Italian and Erasmus university students since Sapienza and LUISS university are extremely close by, but it is also frequented by older people.
The atmosphere at this bar is very lively, filled with Italians and foreigners who get together to enjoy a delicious cocktail accompanied by a rich buffet to start off their evening.
If you arrive at Momart before 7pm, you will have easy access to the bar, but if you arrive after 7pm you may have to wait in line for a table. Nonetheless, do not despair as the waiting time is short and the staff is friendly and efficient. Enjoy!
