Il Cassamortaro Restaurant

Located in the Ponte Milvio area in Via Flaminia, 511

This restaurant is an easy-going fashionable place full of young people. Since it is on Via Flaminia and situated in one of the trendiest nightlife locations in Rome, it is walking-distance from all the bars and nightlife of the area. The restaurant is located in a lovely space which has its own green patio and a nice inside space furnished with wooden squared tables and light parquet flooring. There is also an additional area for smokers that is kept open during the warm season and heated during winter. The food is good, especially the pizzas and the fried antipasti which are exceptional, I suggest you try the cartoccio di frittini vegetariani in tempura as an appetizer. Additionally, although the wine selection is not wide-ranging, the wines that they do have are all exquisite and have been chosen carefully. The atmosphere at Cassamortaro is trendy and intimate, making this restaurant the perfect place for any occasion. I would recommend you make a reservation before going since it is always full. Enjoy!
