Photography International Festival

Located in Via Nizza, 138

The 13th edition of the Photography International Festival will be hosted at MACRO, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome. This year the theme will be "PORTRAIT": photography is not only going to be a genre but a tool to analyze our contemporary society.
The portrait theme is going to be used to understand the historic path and role photography has played in contemporary art as well as in social fields such as philosophy, sociology and anthropology.

The major exhibition is going to be a collection of works composed by 200 authors who have been selected by international photographers, curators and museum directors that have collaborated in the previous editions. Enjoy!
